WEBSITE
Planted in 1980, the White Rose Vineyard is one of the oldest in Oregon. Owner Greg Sanders and Winemaker Jesus Guillen collaborate to make one of Oregon’s most unique styles of Pinot noir, utilizing whole cluster fermentation. This estate winery is marked by ambition, as Greg came from a background in aerospace and Jesus, Computer Systems Engineering. Jesus moved from Mexico in 2002, learned english, and soaked in as much wine knowledge and experience as he could to become vineyard manager at White Rose, moving through positions as cellar master, assistant winemaker, and finally head winemaker in 2008.
