WEBSITE

Steve Lutz's passion for wine took him from Colorado to Napa Valley and ultimately, Oregon's Willamette Valley. In 2000, Steve founded Lenne with his wife, Karen, naming the winery after Karen's late father. They saw the unique land of Yamhill County as the perfect place to create memorable wine, and found what Steve believes to be the worst soil in the Willamette Valley. This site proves true the adage, “the poorer the soil, the better the wine.” The poor Peavine soil caused them much trouble in the beginning, but creates the depth and an underlying mocha aroma, which has become the signature of Lenne wines.
