La Ca' Nova
Piemonte, Italy
"La Ca' Nova" means "la casa nuova" or "the new house," built in the 1800s on top of the hills of the prestigious Montestefano and Montefico vineyards. The Rocca family has farmed here for over 100 years, starting in the 1920s as sharecroppers (mezzadria). The family purchased the land to their own name over time, and today it is run by Marco Rocca, alongside his father and uncles.
