35 acres on a hillside in the heart of Romagna, Italy.
Sangiovese, Albana, Merlot
Over three generations, the Madonia estate has grown from a few acres of vines, cultivated only to make wine for friends and family, to 35 acres. Giovanna Madonia's father and grandfather were both engineers with a passion for wine, which garnered regional notoriety. However, it was Giovanna's careful research, clone selection, and vision that carried this estate into a new chapter of winemaking, assisted by local viniculture authority Remigio Bordini.
