Dettori is a family owned and operated winery focused on giving their best to the land so that it gives its best in return. While they are certified biodynamic and organic, they don't boast either on their labels. Third generation winemaker Alessandro told us, "We make wine. That is our story. The story isn't that we are organic. That is only an instrument that allows us to grow healthier plants and produce better wine." With three generations of winemakers and vines that date back over 100 years, this is a winery entrenched in the history and tradition of a region that has grown and produced wine for 3,000 years.
