WEBSITE

Colterenzio embodies what a co-op should be: an organization that provides resources to small family farmers who produce quality wines. Colterenzio began in 1960 with 28 vintners and has expand to nearly 300 members who cultivate 300 hectares of land. Colterenzio is devoted to sustainable farming practices and they produce green energy through photovoltaic and solar panels. "Back to the Origins" was the motto of Luis Raifer, who founded and led Colterenzio from 1979 to 2005, pioneering their focus on quality over quantity, which was rare in Alto Adige at the time. His son, Wolfgang, continues this legacy today.
