Columbia Gorge AVA
Columbia Gorge, Washington
Analemma Wines exists to produce inspiring wines showcasing the varied terroirs within the Columbia Gorge AVA. Founded by Steven Thompson and Kris Fade in 2010, Analemma Wines was built upon the opportunity to lease one of the oldest vineyards in the Pacific Northwest: The Atavus Vineyard (formerly known as Dragonfly Vineyard). After making a name for himself at Cayuse Vineyards, Steven implemented his own strictly biodynamic approach to growing and winemaking at Analemma. The name Analemma refers to the figure 8 pattern of the sun's annual migratory path between the northern and southern hemispheres.
